Budhai and his daughter live a hand to mouth existence where he works at the cemetery, burning the bodies of the dead and earning his living. In their poor conditions, Budhia and his daughter receive food and clothing only if there is a death in the near by vicinity. This irony of the dead feeding the living has a deep impact on Budhia’s girl, so much so that she starts a little happy dance whenever she sees a dead body. This resonates with the girl even as she grows up as a young woman. Soon she gets married to a truck driver and life takes a different turn. One day when her husband goes out to work he doesn’t return. She is left with no choice but to wait patiently.

Life seems to go on for the girl till she hears from her husband again. Then one fine day when she is passing by through a busy road, she hears people chanting “Ram Naam Satya Hai”. The little girl inside her breaks into a dance and people are shocked. It is only when she sees the face of the corpse, tragedy strikes. It is her husband who has died. She dances and cries at the same time. The movie is directed and produced by Rajesh Sheth. The music is composed by Murlidhar and the lyrics are written by Jalees Rasheed.
