Chandni, played by Zoya Afroz and Zara, played by Sonali Raut are two up coming actresses who incidentally have their debut film releasing on the same date. After the release of both movies the verdict is that, Chandni’s debut film is a hit whereas Zara’s debut film is a flop. Zara is infuriated and jealous of Chandni. At an awards function both the girls have a heated argument. After the party, Zara is found dead and the blame is naturally put on Chandni even though she is innocent but she doesn’t know how to prove it.
Chandni’s boyfriend Ravi, played by Himesh Reshammiya decides to help his girlfriend to prove her innocence. Ravi incidentally is an ex-cop turned actor who also starred in Zara’s debut movie. The case has many suspects like Subba, the movie’s director, Chandni’s ex boyfriend Virmaan and the music composer KD, who had an affair with Zara.
It turns out, on the night Zara died, she went to meet KD on the terrace and KD’s wife Shabnam came looking for him. In a state of panic he accidentally pushed Zara and she fell outside Subba’s window. Subba didn’t help her thinking her death will gain some fame for his flop flim. KD and Subba get convicted for Zara’s murder. Later Ravi tells Chandni that he knew she was the one who killed Zara, because after she fell from Subba’s window she was still alive but Chandni in a fit of rage hit her head with a bottled killing her ultimately.
The movie is directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Vipin Reshammiya and Rakesh Upadhyay. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
