In Purple Lake Scotland, Anjini Dutt, played by Nausheen Ali Sardar works as a violin player. She earns enough to run her house as her husband Rajeev, played by Akshay Kapoor isnt doing very well financially and his business is going into losses. They live in her family mansion, which Rajeev suggests that should be sold to invest in his business. Anjini get furious at this demand, since it is the last possession of her parents. The constant bickering makes Anjini take the decision of giving a part of the mansion on rent so a little extra cash would flow in.
A tenant named Sanjay walks into the mansion. He observes around and quickly notices some tension between the Anjini and Rajeev. He sympathizes with her and befriends her in the process. The two soon get close and begin to get attracted to each other. Anjani starts to fall in love with Sanjay and he reciprocates. It is revealed that Rajeev has hired Sanjay to entice Anjini into falling in love with him and then blackmailing her to sell the mansion and give him the money. Anjini will now have to face her guilt of falling in love with the wrong man and yet saving her mansion from getting sold.
The movie is directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by Mirah Entertainment and ASA Productions. The music is composed by Chirantan Bhatt.
