The story of Toofan revolves around a national level boxer named Alok Oberoi. The story highlights his highs and lows in his career and the emotional ups and downs in his life. This is a fictional story and not a biopic. The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, P.S Bharathi and Rajiv Tandon. The film is written by Anjum Rajabali. The music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Sandeep Shirodkar. The cinematography is by Anay Goswamy.
