Aditya Kumar, played by Ajay Devgn is a popular actor who portrays the character of a famous superhero and kids love him. He lives with his wife Priya and two children Raima and Kabir. He tells his kids that cartoons aren’t real and he should not believe everything he sees. Fed up of his explanation Kabir labels his dad as a fake hero as well, since he uses body doubles. Aditya is embarrassed and leaves home only to be kidnapped by real cartoons.
The cartoons call themselves Devtoon, meaning the good cartoons. They kidnap Aditya through mazes and take him into their animated world. They want him to save them for a evil villain, Jagaro. Hesitantly, Aditya fights the villain with his other toon friends and saves Tooneshwar, the toon God and also gets the magical Toonastra from Rubdoot. Jagaro comes back and challenges Aditya to play a game and kidnaps his family. Eventually Aditya defeats him and Kabir and Raima agree that their dad is a real superhero.
The movie is directed by Kireet Khurana and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. The music is composed by Anu Malik and Rishi Rich. The star cast includes Ajay Devgn and Kajol.
