Dr. Sharad is a respected and well known surgeon. He falls in love with journalist Deepika and is soon to marry her. One day a man called Bihari comes to his hospital and asks him to kill a patient for which he will be paid. Sharad flatly refuses and gets Bihari arrested. He then goes to Hyderabad for a conference where he saves a girl called Sansani from a horrific accident. Soon she falls in love with him. But he ignores her advances and goes back to his city to marry Deepika. Sansani leaves heartbroken. They have a daughter together and their life is blissful. Things however start to change within a few months as Sharad becomes busy with work and starts to neglect his family.

 

One day Bihari comes to meet Sharad as a changed man and tells him to operate on his fiancé Sandhya. Turns out she is non other than Sansani. She tells him that she recently won a lottery ticket and became a millionaire. Her relatives want her to die so they can usurp her property. Her heart problem however is getting worse. She then is lied to by a nurse that Sharad is unmarried. She also finds an old letter of hi swritten to Deepika and thinks it is for her. Deepika reads a letter written by Sandhya and suspects her husband of having an affair. When Sandhya does find out that Sharad is infact married her heath deteriorates and she dies.

 

The film is directed by Madan Joshi and produced by Madan Ahuja. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Raj Babbar,Dimple Kapadia,Shahsi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Shakti Kapoor,Shreeram Lagu,Satyen Kappu, Aruna Irani, Padmini Kolhapure and Urmila Bhatt.
