Traffic is the heart touching story of humanity and circumstances that make us all change. Dev Kapoor, played by Prosenjit Chatterjee is a prominent film personality living in Pune. He lives a lavish lifestyle and has a successful career behind him. His daughter is the apple of his eye, but she has a life threating illness that could only be cured by a heart transplant.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Mumbai a journalist intern named Rehaan, gets killed in a horrific car accident. His parents mourning his death decide to donate his heart to Dev’s daughter to save her life.
The bad weather poses great danger and makes it impossible to transport the heart safely to Pune by air. The only way out is driving by road, which is a distance of 150kms. Gurbir Singh, who is the Traffic Commissioner takes up the task of driving all the way and constable Godbole joins him in his challenge.
Gurbir and Godbole are joined by Rehaan’s close friend Rajeev and Surgeon Dr Abel. Traffic is directed by Rajesh Pillai and produced by Deepak Dhar, Sameer Gogate and Sameer Rajendran. The music is composed by Mithoon.
