Kooka Singh is a notorious criminal and dreaded by many. He arrests honest and righteous police inspector Satyadevi. She has three sons Anand, Shakti and Romi. She takes great rpide in her sons and is hoping some day they will restore her prestige and rescue her from the jail. Anand and Shakti however have a fight when they are young and Anand thus leaves home and joins Kooka Singh’s black-market businessman. They all think that Anand is dead. Soon Romi falls in love with a rich girl called Radha and is ready to even die for her. They both decide to get married and Shakti goes to her house to talk to her dad but he humiliates him and sends him away. Romi in despair runs away and starts working with Kooka. Meanwhile Shakti joins the military.
Romi one day meets a man named Sikander from the black market and helps him become rich. Later it is revealed that Sikander himself is Anand. He tries to rekindle his relationship with Shakti but it doesn’t work at first. Then Satyadevi is released from jail and comes to know about her son’s animosity. Finally they kill Kooka for running their lives and all three brothers unite. The movie is directed by Mukul S Anand and produced by Subhash Ghai. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi. The cinematography is by Ashok Mehta and Rajiv Jain, and the choreography is by Saroj Khan. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Gauthami, Anjali Jathar, Saeed Jaffery, Mohan Agashe Tinnu Anand, Deepak Qazir, Satyen Kappu,Anang Desai, Priya Tendulkar and Himani Shivpure.
