Raja is a notorious criminal and always loots wealthy people of their riches. Valiant and brave inspector Amar is put on an assignment to nab Raja and put an end to his crimes once and for all. Things take a turn for the worse when Raja ends up robbing the house of the police commissioner. Amar is then given the ultimatum of arresting Raja in 4 days or face transfer to a dreaded area of Tandarikala. Amar is almost successful is nabbing Raja and getting him into prison, but on the way Amar gets severely injured. Raja takes advantage of this and escapes and goes to Tandarikala, pretending to be a police officer.
Raja comes to know that the village is ruled by a ruthless man named Gajendra Singh. He has been terrorizing the village since many years. Raja then sees a look-a-like of Amar but later realizes that it is Amar himself who has followed Raja to arrest him. When they see the condition of the village, Raja and Amar join forces to eliminate the evil acts of Ganjendra Singh and free the village of violence and cruelty. The movie is directed by Guddu Dhanoa and produced by Namrata Dehal. The music is composed by Dilip Sen and SameerSen and the lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi. The story and screenplay are written by Robin Henry. The star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Pratibha, Anupam Kher, Deven Verma, Amrish Puri,Gyan Shivpuri,Harish Patel,Rajesh Puri, Anjana Mumtaz and Usha Nadkarni.
