Rishi, played by Ritesh Deshmukh and Anju, played by Genelia D’Souza are the best of friends since childhood. They have been inseparable even in college. One day a new boy named Aakash, joins college who performs on stage with Anju and starts having feelings for her. They then go on a tour with the rest of the team to Bangalore for inter-college competitions. Never having been away from each other, Rishi starts to miss Anju. He later realizes that he might be in love. When he goes to propose to her, on the way he sees another girl slapping a friend for proposing to her and gives the example of Rishi, that he is a true friend without any ulterior motives. Rishi then takes his steps back and decides to hide his feelings.

 

After returning from the trip Anju tells Rishi that Aakash has proposed to her and asks for his opinion. He tells her to accept it, with a heavy heart. All the arrangements for Anju and Aakash’s wedding is done but later Anju has a change of heart as she has to leave Rishi forever and go to the US with her husband. Rishi convinces her to go through with the marriage as her parents wish for it. At home the maid tells everything to Anju’s parents about Rishi and Anju’s love and finally they cancel the wedding and Anju unites with Rishi.

 

The movie is directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar and produced by Ramoji Rao and A.V Rao. The music is composed by Viju Shah.
