Manjri and Tulsi are twin sisters living a poor lifestyle in the village. Tulsi falls in love with an Army man named Ganesh Singh. When her father comes to know of this, he flatly refuses to this alliance as Ganesh is from a lower caste. Meanwhile her marriage is arranged with the greedy and lustful Thakur, but he turns down the offer. Tulsi goes ahead and marries Ganesh Singh against everyone’s will. Unfortunately there comes news of Ganesh Passing away and being killed in war. A devastated Tulsi however does not lose hope and refuses to wipe away the sindoor from her head. Her faith somehow brings Ganesh back home alive.
The film is directed by Veerendra and produced by B P Shahabadi. The music is composed by Ravindra Jain and the story is written by Veerendra. The screenplay is written by Santosh Vyas and the cinematography is by K R Murthy. The star cast includes Sachin, Sadhana Singh, Gulshan Grover and Inder Thakur.
