Daksh Mittal, played by Emran Hashmi is the son of a multimillionaire who likes to waste his money drinking and on leisure. One night he happens to see a girl called Jiya, played by Dia Mirza and falls in love with her. Turns out Jiya works as a dancer and an he inherit a has a mentally disabled brother. Daksh and Jiya spend a lot of time together and eventually fall in love. Daksh is however engaged to marry Anahita, played by Pooja Bharati and only after marrying her a multi-million dollar trust.
Daksh is close to his butler named John and he wants Daksh to marry Jiya as he is in love with her. However John falls ill one day and is admitted to the hospital. On the day of Daksh and Anahita’s engagement party John convinces Jiya to attend the party. She goes to the party and they come to know that John is very ill and dying in the hospital. To honor his last wish Daksh proposes marriage to Jiya and she agrees. His family after a lot of reluctance accepts and they are finally married.
The movie is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Kumkum Saigal. The music is composed by Nadeem-Shravan.
