Raja Saheb is a well-respected and wealthy man in his town. His pregnant wife unfortunately dies while giving birth to their only son Vijay. A devastated Raja Saheb is then left to take care of his son all by himself. He raises Vijay in a very protective and pampered environment as a result of which, Vijay’s overall growth gets hampered and he becomes extremely shy. Vijay’s lack of confidence and self-esteem concerns his uncle Veeru and he decides to take Vijay under his wings. Soon Vijay starts to become confident and smart and is ready to take over the world.
Vijay one day meets a pretty girl named Jaanam, played by Raveena Tandon and falls head over heels in love with her. She however is from a questionable background and Vijay knows that Raja Saheb will never agree to his marriage to Jaanam but he has to try hard.
The movie is directed by B B Bhalla and produced by Bharat B Bhalla. The star cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Rahul Roy, Raveena Tandon, Annu Kapoor, Danny Denzongpa Denzongpa, The music is composed by Mahesh-Kishore.
