Police inspector Verma arrests notorious gangster Lalchand and throws him in jail. The latter swears to take revenge for this humiliation and kidnaps Verma’s only son Ajay after his release from jail. Lalchand informs Verma that his son is dead. Hawaldar Bhagwan then tries to save Verma from Lalchand’s attack but gets killed in the process. Bhagwan’s son Ajay who is now orphaned is adopted by Verma and his wife and raise the boy as their own. Soon Ajay grows up to be police inspector himself while Verma is now the commissioner. The father son duo now join forces to eliminate Lalchand and also find out that Verma’s son is still alive but has taken to the life of crime.
The film is directed by Umesh Mehra and produced by Karim Morani and Sunil Sooram. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the screenplay is written by Anand Kaushal and P D Mehra. The star cast includes Dharmendra,Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Kader Khan, Raza Murad, Paresh Rawal, Vinod Mehra, Sameer Kakkad,Tom Alter,Roopesh Kumar, Dharmendra, Anjana Mumtaz, Leena Dass and Madhuri Dixit.
