Captain of India, Rajveer Singh, played by Sharman Joshi and Captain of Pakistan, Quereshi, played by Javed Jaffrey, decide to play cards at the indo-park border when suddenly a bomb explodes. Everyone is wondering what’s happening when, a flashback is revealed. The defence minister of India invites a local news reporter Ruth, played by Soha Ali Khan to give out some important information. He says that after 2 days there will be a war declaration between India and Pakistan.

The Pakistani ministers ask the Chinese defence minister for help and they in turn warn to invade New Delhi with bombs. The Indo-Pak border soldiers are getting sluggish and pay little attention to the instructions of their seniors. Captain Rajveer and Quereshi are engrossed in sudden camaraderie and talk about food, music, films, etc. Amongst them lands Ruth who wants to shoot a documentary on the lives of the cross border soldiers.

The soldiers are then suddenly told of the war and their friendship is tested. The movie then takes a humorous yet emotional turn when the soldiers themselves wonder why is the war really necessary. The movie is written and directed by Faraz Haider and Deepak Kingrani. The music is composed by Aslam Keyi.
