Welcome to New York is a comedy film directed by Chakri Toleti, produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani . Featuring Dilijit Dosanjh, Sonakshi Sinha, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh , Lara Dutta and Boman Irani. The film released on 23rd February 2018 is about Teji ( Dilijit Dosanjh) a disordered and sloppy recovery agent who dreams of making it big as an actor. Jeenal Patel ( Sonakshi Sinha) is a fashion designer becomes a part of an event by Bollywood which is held in New York. The story has rumors of Karan Johar getting kidnapped which turns out to be a fake news as it was not Karan but Arjun who is kidnapped.
The film moves on with unexpected trip to New York city that sets the duo, on an adventurous trip that is comic and changes their lives forever.
