Shekhar Kapoor, is on the lookout for a lucrative and well paying job, which makes him come from Goa to Mahabaleshwar. Tired and exhausted with the job hunt, Shakhar goes to a bar and meets a girl called Laila, who mistakes him for a contract killer. She along with a man called Pratap Singh, then instruct Shekhar to kill Singh’s niece Sonali. Left with no choice, Shekhar accepts the order but instead of killing Sonali, he tells her the truth about the contract killing. Tensed on returning home, Shekhar accidentally runs over a man named Madan but quickly takes him to a hospital.
Shekhar later comes to the realization that it isn’t just Pratap Singh and Laila who want Sonali dead, but it’s a huge conspiracy where the District Superintendent of police and an Agent of the CBI are also involved. Shekhar now has to find out the real truth hidden behind a mask of lies and deceit. Things are much more than what they actually seem to be. The movie is directed by Raj Sippy and produced by Romu Sippy. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand and the story is written by Robin Bhatt.
