The story of Wounded is based on the life of Bandit Queen, who struggles a lot in life as a normal growing up girl before she decides to take the road of crime and violence. Abducted and raped at a tender age, transforms the girl into a vicious revenge seeking adult who will forgive no one who goes against her wishes. She will bring justice in her own way and enforce her demands. The story of Wonded is one that is empowering but also heartbreaking and disturbing for women all over the world. This is an example of a violated woman’s ultimate fury unleashed on men who don’t comply.
The movie is directed by Krishna Mishra and produced by Shalini Chanda. The cinematography is by Alok Dasgupta and the story is by Aziz Burney and Saloni Goel. The music is composed by Babla Mehta and Ajay.
