The story of Yaar Meri Zindagi, revolves around two close friends Ajay and Vijay. They both have stark differences and their personalities are totally different, yet they hold each other in high regard and are the best of friends. As the two grow up, Ajay studies hard and becomes a well respected doctor, who helps the poor at every given chance and spreads his goodwill. Vijay on the other hand decides to inherit his ancestor’s vast property and turns into a full-fledged Thakur.

At first Ajay and Vijay keep their differences aside and enjoy each other’s company as friends, but as time passes by, few cracks start appearing in their friendship as their ideologies start clashing. One day Vijay’s goon Shamsher Singh, abducts a pheasant girl. When Ajay learns this, he gets infuriated and gets Shamsher arrested. Thus starts the bad blood between Ajay and Vijay. The two inseparable friends now can’t stand each other. They fight a tough battle to put their point across. But in the end true friendship conquers all.
