Yaara is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal, Shruti Haasan, Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma and Kenny Basumatary.
Mitwa, Phagun, Rizwaan and Bahadur are four close friends who run their operations of looting, smuggling, killing and other illegal activities along the India-Nepal border. They somehow manage to fool the cops and work their way up to becoming the notorious ‘Chaukdi Gang’. After a while a fifth member joins them named Kafira. Things don’t go their way one day when the four friends of the gang are arrested. Many years later Phagun has become a successful businessman while Mitwa is now an international smuggler with his scope running far and wide. The friends then have a reunion and share the stories of what happened to them in the years they were away.
The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Zaid Ali, Sunir Khetarpal, Gaurav Bose. The star cast includes Vidyut Jammwal, Amit Sadh, Mohammed Ali Shah, Shruti Haasan, Kenny Basumatary, Imran Hasnee and Vijay Varma.
