Aman, played by Jimmy Shergill is posted in Kashmir to fight the terrorists trying to take over the land there. He happens to meet a local Kashmiri girl called Adaa, played by Minisha Lamba and they both fall in love. Adaa’s brother Shakeel has joined the terrorists to free Kashmir. Meanwhile Aman does not let the army know of his relationship. Adaa’s grandmother approves of them but father is strictly against and asks Aman to stay away from their family. Aman later captures Shakeel’s mentor. Put on another mission, Aman and his team go to the terrorists hideout to nab them but instead get captured by them, where Shakeel is the mastermind.
The terrorists ask the government to free their leader in return for their soldiers. Just then Adaa comes and pleads with Shakeel to not harm Aman. Aman uses this chance to run off with Adaa. The army now knows of their relationship and suspect Aman being involved with the terrorist activities and is court-martialed. Adaa pleads with the CM to help them. He agrees but on the condition that Adaa does not disclose her relation with Aman or it will spoil the name of the army. She refuses to do that. Later she is called on a TV channel to speak about her story on live Television.
Shakeel meanwhile takes a mosque and its people hostage. While Adaa tells her love story on live TV, terrorists bomb her house and her grandmother is severely injured. Shakeel comes out of the mosque and is shot down by Aman and the other terrorist are then targeted. The movie is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Garry Grewal, Shoojit Sircar and Robby Grewal. The music is composed by Shantanu Moitra.
