Chandramohan is an honest and hard working employee of a company as well as a union leader. His zeal for honesty and dedication to the company has put him in bad books of many. He however continues his fight against corruption and illegal activities. Meanwhile Chandramohan gets jailed for several years for a crime he didn’t commit. His frustration reaches to another level when he is released and he finds that things in
society haven’t changed much. He soon comes to know that his brother-in-law is a MLA and not a very honest one, and his sister is fine with the way things are. Chandramohan has to now make a decision to either fight the corrupt system or join its ways. The film is directed by T Rama Rao and produced by P Malikarjuna Rao. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Utpal Dutt, Zeenat Aman, Shakti Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Om Puri, Satyen Kappu, Sachin, Madhu Kapoor and Aruna Irani.
