Raju, played by Saif Ali Khan comes to Mumbai from a small town to get a lucrative career and become rich in the corporate world. On reaching Mumbai, Raju is tricked and looted. His car and luggage, are flicked by a cunning man named Charlie. Raju then goes to Mr. Malhotra, a wealthy man to get a job in his office. Raju is initially dejected and upset at being given a job as a peon in his office, but later begins to enjoy it. A beautiful girl named Jasmine, played by Twinkle Khanna, then catches his eye. He is excited to know that she works in the same office.
Soon Mr. Malhotra’s brother tries to sabotage his company and gain the riches for himself. No one is able to suspect him as he has hired a spy to keep an eye on Malhotra and his activities. Meanwhile Raju comes to know of this evil plan and tries to make things right in the company while maintaining his job as a peon and gaining the affection of Jasmine.
The movie is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The star cast cincludes Chunky Pandey, Saurabh Shukla, Akshay Anand, Avtar Gill, Girish Dhamija, Sanjeeva Vatsa, Ramesh Rai, Gautam Saugat and Savita Karle.
