Dushant, played by Shahrukh Khan is close to Jaya, played by Raveena Tandon, who is his childhood friend. His other childhood friends include Nisha, played by Navneet Nishan and Sujit, played by Mohnish Behl. They all grow up to set off on their own journey. Dushant, aspires to be a great singer some day but does not have enough money to make this reality come true and thus Jaya decides to help him. Eventually they both fall in love and the others are quite envious of them. Nisha and Sujit try to create misunderstandings between the two and are successful to some extent.
Dushant becomes a successful singer and becomes wealthy. Nisha’s father meanwhile wants to start his own business and goes to him for monetary support but Dushant’s mentor refuses to entertain him. Later Sujit along with Nisha’s father hatch a plan to get Dushant’s wealth and make it their own. Unfortunately Sujit mysteriously gets murdered and so does Nisha. Later her father is also found murdered in a similar way. It is then revealed that it was Jaya’s father who committed all the crimes.
The movie is directed by Birendra Nath Tiwari and produced by Ram Sharma. The music is composed by Nikhil-Vinay and the cinematography is by Manish Bhatt and Masood Quereshi.
