Police inspector Yeshwant, played by Nana Patekar, is an orphan and is now living a middle class lifestyle in the suburbs of Mumbai with his wife Ragini, played by Madhoo. His honesty and bravery always gets him into trouble and this time he is given a prison sentence of 10 years for killing a man in cold blood. His friend Vikram assists him and appeals on his behalf. His conviction is thus overturned and soon he is released. A distraught Yeshwant comes back to live his life as normal as possible when he gets another blow. He gets to know that his wife Ragini is having an affair with her bodyguard John, who also happens to be her former college class-mate.

 

Yeshwant is furious and wants to kill John and confront his wife about it. Ragini however will do anything to prove her innocence and save her husband from further humiliation and another murder. The movie is directed by Anil Mattu and produced by Vijay Ranglani and Narottam Purohit. The music is composed by Anand Milind and the lyrics are written by Sameer and Mehboob Khan. The screenplay is written by Anil Mattoo. The cinematography is by Shankar Bardhan and the choreography is done by Farah Khan and Bhushan Lakandri. The star cast includes Shafi Inamdar, Mohan Joshi, Atul Agnihotri, Shivaji Satam, Bala Thakur, Achyut Potdar, Ravindra Sathe, Gavin Packard, Nagesh Patekar, Ashok Shinde, Ashok Maurya, Prasad Parkar and Usha Nadkarni.
