Vinod and Ravi are brothers, who are brought up in a humble yet close-knit family. Their father is a photographer who comes in the bad books of a gangster. The former gets into trouble when he is eye witness to a crime and takes a photo of the crime scene. The gangster ruthlessly murders their father to get rid of him. At the time Vinod was a child all of 3 years old and Ravi was still in his mother’s womb. The family is then left to fend for themselves and struggle. The boys grow up and Vinod becomes a tough police inspector while Ravi becomes an outlaw joining the gang of J.D. The film is directed by Ramesh Talwar and produced by Jagdish Sharma. The music is composed by Usha Khanna. The star cast includes Rajesh Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Ranjeeta, Om Puri and Ashalata.
