When a group of Pakistani terrorists attack the Indian Parliament building, the Indian authorities summon colonel Ranvir Singh, played by Ajay Devgn, who nabs the terrorist leader Zaheer Khan. The Islamic terrorist group Al-Tahir then attempts at helping Zaheer escape but their plans are foiled by Assistant commissioner of police Jaydev, played by Abhishek Bachchan. They then hijack a civilian plane to the Pakistan occupied Kashmir, to make a deal with the Indian authorities to free Zaheer. They meanwhile come to know that Fareed, who is was a informer for the terrorist and supplying vehicles, has his cover blown. He is thus murdered by the terrorist and his body is thrown into the sea.
The terrorist hijack the Indian Airlines flight from Mumbai to Kathmandu, where Jaydev’s fiancé Nandini, played by Bipasha Basu is the flight attendant. All the 107 passengers are taken hostage for the release of Zaheer Khan. Ranvir and Jaydev join forces and they free all the hostages and throw Zaheer out of an Army helicopter to his death.
The movie is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by N.R Pachisia. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. The cinematography is by V. Manikandan. The story of the movie is written by Suparn Verma.
