They say with great power comes great responsibility, hence the one with power must be very careful as he is threading on a very fragile road. The story of Zed Plus revolves around politics and the vulnerability of people holding high positions. Few people will do justice to their role but somehow they don’t last. The evil ones will survive all kinds of farce and resurface over and over again.
In a small town in Rajasthan, the current Prime Minister of India visits a Dargah to pray and seek the almighty’s blessings. While there, he notices a man called Aslam, played by Adil Hussain who selflessly works and helps people. Impressed by his dedication, the PM praises and him and asks him what does he want for himself. He confesses that he has anxiety about being in danger from the people of his community and doesn’t feel safe. Thus the PM, grants Aslam and his wife, Zed Plus security. Initially he finds it tough to come to terms and adjust with the security around him but eventually as time passes begins to like it. So much so that he starts having political ambitions of his own.
Aslam decides to stand for elections, having understood the pros and cons of being political leader and has dreams of being a big shot political figure, which goes to his head very soon.
Zed Plus is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Mukund Purohit and Mandira Kashyap. The music is composed by Sukhwinder Singh and Nayab.
