Siddharth, played by Emraan Hashmi is a police chief at a police station in Goa. His wife Sonia, played by Shamita Shetty, too is a cop but in a higher rank as part of the special police force. He is going through a bitter divorce with her and is unable to handle the pressure of her success. Meanwhile Siddharth finds himself attracted to another local woman in Goa named Anna, played by Udita Goswami. His now playing a dangerous game by having a secret affair with the married Anna that no one knows anything about.
Things turn for the worse when Siddharth realizes that Anna’s husband Shawn, played by Sameer Kochhar, beats her up almost every night and also that she is suffering from cancer. Siddharth feels sorry for Anna and doesn’t want to abandon her at the worst stage in her life. Siddharth thus gives Anna a huge amount of money that he recovered during a drug raid for her treatment. However fate had other plans for her and she dies in a fire. Siddharth now has to recover the illegal money he gave her. His wife is now on the case and he has all evidence pointing to him.
Later it is revealed that Anna is still alive and wanted to recover her insurance money for her own good. She was playing with the emotions of Siddharth and Shawn. She points a gun at Siddharth who confronts her but she is shot by Sonia at the end. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The film’s story is written by Mahesh Bhatt. The music is composed by Roop Kumar Rathod, Mithoon, Anu Malik, Naresh Sharma, Jal and Atif Aslam.
