Jay is a pampered child who has been brought up by his grandmother. She has never ever refused his demands and makes sure he is always happy. One day when Jay asks for a horse, she fulfills his wishes. Jay names the horse Didaara and loves riding him. He gets very attached to the horse and learns how to ride although he is still in the initial stages of horse riding. This leads to a severe injury and his grandmother panics. In her tension she gives away the horse. When Jay sees the horse missing he is devastated and loses all hope. His grandmother doesn’t realize Jay was so obsessed with the horse and realizes that she has changed their lives forever. Jay leaves home in despair. His grandmother now looks out for him.
The movie is directed by Esmayeel Shroff and produced by Pranlal Mehta. The music is composed by O P Nayyar an dthe lyrics are written by Qamar Jalalabadi and Noor Dewasi. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Moin-ud-din. The star cast includes Jay Mehta, Raageshwari, Rajiv Verma, Mala Sinha, Rakesh Bedi, Vijay Aidsani, Mahavir Shah, Mukesh Rawal, Birbal, Dinesh Hingoo, Vanita Malik and Jayshree Arora.
