Zinda Dil is a romantic film of 1975 directed by Sikandar Khanna. Starring in the film are Rishi Kapoor, Netu Singh, Zaheera and Pran.
The story is about two brothers Arun Sharma (Rishi Kapoor) and his brother Kewal Sharma (Actor Rajesh Leher) who is a look alike of Rishi Kapoor. Their father Major Hemraj Sharma(Pran) is a war veteran and has become disabled during the war and is dependent on the clutches. Arun Sharma comes across Jyoti( Neetu Singh) and they start meeting regularly and fall in love. She gets him a job in the company owned by her father (Pinchoo Kapoor). One day he meets a hotel waitress who tells him of his past and that his mother is alive. Arun Sharma is livid as to why his father disowned their mother and let her leave. What was the secret that was held from his sons?
