The story of Zor Lagaa Ke Haiya! Revolves around environment conservation and how one can really make a difference by little steps and actions. Scientists have been researching for years now and come up with the theory that global warming and melting of the glaciers have all a direct connection with trees and nature. It’s time to do our bit, even if a small amount to protect our mother nature from harm and destruction.
In a small village, a bunch of children have built a tree house on a huge tree that has been there for many centuries and it’s a source of life for animals, birds and the people there. Not far away resides a mysterious beggar who is reclusive but soon becomes the kid’s buddy and a new journey begins. There is news spreading fast within the village about a corrupt builder who wants to make a building and their favorite tree will be cut down. Scared and anxious the children along with the beggar make a pact that no matter what, they will save the tree.
The movie is directed by Girish Girija Joshi and produced by Kartikeya Talreja and Basant Talreja. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Gulshan Grover, Seema Biswas, Sachin Khedekar, Raj Zutshi, Ritwik Tyagi and Riya Sen.
