Balraj works for Babaji and is his bodyguard for many years. Babaji, while dying makes Balraj promise him that he will protect his grandson Nihal from all harm. Many years later Raj, played by Akshay Kumar is having dinner with his family at a restaurant and his sister gets attacked by a couple of goons. A man tries to outrage the modesty of Raj’s sister and she commits suicide. Days later a devastated Raj saves another girl from being molested and saves her from the attackers. Balraj sees this and is impressed by Raj’s bravery and hires him to protect his daughter Komal, played by Twinkle Khanna.
Komal initially dislikes and detests Raj but soon begins to warm up to him and falls in love with him. Things take a turn for the worse when Raj recognizes Nihal as the man who had molested his sister. Raj makes up his mind to kill Nihal and avenge his sister’s death. The movie is written and directed by Kuku Kohli and produced by Satyendra Pal. The star cast includes Amrish Puri, Milind Gunaji, Dalip Tahil, Ghanshyam, Dara Singh, Deep Dhillon, Aroon Bakshi, Gulshan Bawra, Aruna Irani and Raakhee Malhotra. The music is composed by Dilip Sen and Sameer Sen and the lyrics are written by Gulshan Bawra. The cinematography is by N Satten and the choreography is by B H Tharunkumar, Chinni Prakash and Saroj Khan.
