The life and career of yesteryear Bollywood actress Parveen Babi has been a point of speculations since years. Right from her affair with film director Mahesh Bhatt to her mental health, has been of immense interest to fans and tabloids. Now digging deeper and knowing the Namak Halaal actress a little better, there is a mini-series soon on the way. Producer Sneha Rajani who has backed the Deepika Padukone starrer Piku previously has bought the rights of the well researched biography of the actress by writer Karishma Upadhyay. 

A book documenting the Upadhyay’s work has recently been published giving us details of Praveen’s life from a little girl to a Bollywood star. Her struggles, successes and loneliness have all been written down which will now be presented in the form of a series and released digitally. Karishma is heading to put a team together that will make the book come to life. Several filmmakers have tried to adapt Babi’s life into movies including Mahesh Bhatt himself. The mini- series will see a different take on the Bollywood icon’s life. Watch this space for more updates on the same.
