While Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan awaits the release of his upcoming film Dasvi, he has nosedived into his next titled Ghoomer. The film is a sports drama directed by Paa director R Balki. The film that went on floor last month has completed it’s first schedule in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai and Pune. The team is now heading to scenic Dharamshala for it’s next schedule. 

Ghoomer although is not touted as a biopic will tell the tale of Hungarian right hand shooter Karoly Takacs. He won two Olympic gold medals in 1948 shooting with his left hand, when his right was seriously injured. The film aims to salute the incredible achievements of special sports personalities with disabilities. 

Apart from Jr. Bachchan, Ghoomer also stars Saiyami Kher and Shabana Azmi along with Angad Bedi, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur and Ivanka Das. As most of R Balki’s films, Amitabh Bachchan is expected to make a special appearance.
