Promising to present yet another fantastic and interesting story to the Hindi audiences, producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani are bringing another remake in Bollywood. This time it will be the Tamil super hit Thadam. The makers have signed up Malang actor Aditya Roy Kapur to play the lead role in the film. The film is yet to be titled and is based on true events and will the handsome actor take on a double role for the first time in his career. Both the characters will be very different from each other. The film will be directed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar and go on floors bu September 2021. 

Speaking on his excitement on working in the film Aditya said, “I am inspired and excited to be part of telling such an interesting story. The original film was incredibly riveting and entertaining, and it left a lasting impression on me. As an actor, getting a chance to do a double role is double the preparation and double the challenge, and I’m certainly up for it! I look forward to collaborating with Bhushanji, Murad Bhai, and Vardhan to bring this exciting thriller to the screen soon.”
