Giving us a glimpse into the life of Koli community youth, the Marathi film Unaad is one of the most awaited films this year. While the makers gear up for its release, they have already added an achievement in this regard. The film will be screened at the 22nd MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. The film stars Abhishek Bharate, Devika Daftardar, Ashutosh Gaikwad and Hemal Ingle. 

Speaking about the film, producer Ajit Arora said, “Unaad is a journey of today's youths of Koli community. It's a musical film and there are six songs in the film. It is purely a realistic take on current youths of the Koli community.” He further added, “Now, the film is all set to have a gala premiere at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival at their 22nd edition. It is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. We are very delighted and my heartiest congratulations to our director Aditya Sarpotdar and the entire team of 'Unaad'.”
