Actress Aishwarya Rai recently caused a stir on social media after she shared a cropped image of her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, with her daughter Aaradhya. The picture was posted a day after Amitabh's 81st birthday, and the noticeable absence of other family members has sparked curiosity amongst fans about Aishwarya's relationship with the Bachchan family. 

The original image, which was shared by Amitabh's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, included herself, her brother Agastya Nanda, and their grandmother Jaya Bachchan. However, Aishwarya's version of the photo shared on Instagram, featured a close-up of Amitabh and Aaradhya, with the rest of the family members cropped out. 

In the shared image, Aaradhya is seen hugging her grandfather Amitabh, both sharing warm smiles for the camera. Aishwarya paired the image with a heartfelt caption, expressing her love and blessings for the family. 

Amitabh's son and Aishwarya's husband, Abhishek Bachchan, also took to Instagram to express his affection for his father on his birthday. Sharing a photo with Amitabh, he referred to him as his 'idol', 'hero', 'inspiration', and 'best friend'. The father-son duo looked stylish and happy in their shared picture. 

Amitabh Bachchan, a superstar of Indian cinema, began his illustrious career with Saat Hindustani in 1969. His performance as Dr. Bhaskar Banerjee in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Anand (1971) earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. The action film Zanjeer (1973) by Prakash Mehra established him as an industry powerhouse, and since then, Amitabh has continued to captivate audiences in a variety of roles. 

Amitabh is not one to rest on his laurels and has several exciting projects in the pipeline. He will next be seen in the action thriller film Ganapath: A Hero is Born, alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. Additionally, he will be part of a sci-fi action thriller film titled Kalki 2898 AD, and a courtroom drama film Section 84. 

Aishwarya Rai's Instagram post has certainly made headlines, but it's clear that the Bachchan family continues to celebrate their togetherness and accomplishments, regardless of the speculation. Aishwarya's post, along with Abhishek's tribute to Amitabh, highlights the enduring bond within this iconic Bollywood family.
