The Malayalam version of Drishyam 2 released on OTT platform on 19th February and was received just as well as the first instalment. Now the Hindi version being made is in talks. The previous movie starred Tabu and Ajay Devgn in the lead and have been approached for the second instalment as well. The two stars have agreed in principle to reprise their powerful roles and the rest of the formalities are being worked out. If all goes well, the film will be directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Kumar Mangat. 


The story of Drishyam 2 will move forward 6 years from where the last one had concluded. Fans cannot wait for this incredible thriller to come alive on the screens once again. The film will likely go on floors in the first quarter of 2021 for a 2022 release. Ajay Devgn meanwhile has a host of films up for release including Maidaan and Bhuj: The Pride of India.
