Looks like Bollywood is catching on the web trend, and how! Big budget films are now opting for digital release, especially given the current grim pandemic situation. The next film to have an online release will be the Ajay Devgn starrer drama Bhuj- The Pride of India. Disney+Hotstar had announced last year a lineup of 7 movies to stream on their platform and rightly did so. First was Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Dil Bechara, then came Lootcase and the action thriller Khuda Haafiz. Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 arrived next and then came Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy, Laxmii, in the Diwali week. The sixth film, The Big Bull, starring Abhishek Bachchan was released few days ago. Now it’ll be the Tanhaji actor’s film next.

Bhuj- The Pride of India will hit the digital platform on 15th August 2021. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar and Ammy Virk. Ajay Devgn will play the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik who spearheaded the mission of rebuilding the destroyed Bhuj airbase with the help of 300 women from the village.
