Bollywood star Akshay Kumar began his journey as a young action hero in the film Saugandh in 1991. The dashing actor has now completed 30 years in Hindi cinema. Yash Raj who is producing his upcoming period film Prithviraj, has commemorated the event by creating a spectacular new poster for Kumar. YRF shared a small video where the new poster was gifted to the Housefull actor. They captioned it, “Celebrating @akshaykumar and his 30 years of incredible cinema! Watch the unveiling video NOW! Celebrate Samrat #prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you!” 

In the video Akshay is excited to see his unique poster from Prithviraj and says, “It didn’t even cross my mind that this activity is happening to celebrate my 30 years in cinema! It’s fascinating that 30 years have passed since my first film Saugandh! The first shot of my film career was at Ooty and it was an action shot! Thank you very much for this gesture. This is really special.” 

Prithviraj is directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and also stars Manushi Chhillar who is making her Bollywood debut with the film. It will hit cinemas on 3rd June 2022.
