Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is all set to take his fans on a roller coaster of films with one character very different from the other. While a host of his films are still waiting to be released, the actor is wrapping up work on his other projects. The Good Newwz actor has now wrapped up the Mumbai leg of his shoot along with lead actress Bhumi Pednekar in Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan. The actor shared a few BTS pictures on his social media page and wrote an emotional post, “I’m already missing walking down these streets of Chandni Chowk. Even though it was a make-believe set…you made it look so real, take a bow @sumitbasu62. My wonderful co-star @bhumipednekar, thank you for providing the right balance with your splendid talent. And @aanandlrai sir…what can I say about you, besides that you’re a wizard and today as we wrap up the Mumbai schedule of #RakshaBandhan, I know I’m leaving the set a better actor.”

Aanand L Rai and Akshay have previously worked in the film Atrangi Re but the film is yet to release. Raksha Bandhan’s story revolves around a brother-sister bond and love they share. The film also stars Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth.
