After the stupendous success of OMG-Oh My God, the makers are now finally coming out with its sequel. This time the film will star Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam with Akshay Kumar who will reprise the role of Lord Krishna. There is another interesting update on the film. While the 2012 hit dealt with superstition and religious fanaticism, the second installment will be focusing on the loopholes in the Indian Education system. It will also showcase the topic of college admissions and exam pressures faced by students. The film has reportedly gone on floors. 

Oh My God 2 is directed by Amit Rai and will hit the big screens in 2022. While Pankaj Tripathi has begun shooting for his scenes with Yami Gautam, Akshay will join th1e cast this October. On the work front, Akshay will next be seen in Bachchan Pandey and Sooryavanshi among others. Yami has Bhoot Police and Lost in her kitty while Pankaj was last seen in the Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi.
