Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna has always done justice to every role that he has taken up. From Dil Chahta Hai to Ittefaq, the actor has something new and fresh to bring on the table. His demeanor and passion for his craft has made him a perfect choice for playing the lead in the upcoming Zee5 Original film State of Siege: Temple Attack. The State of Siege: 26/11 previously was a huge hit and the makers wanted to carry forward telling the brave stories of soldiers as well as give a glimpse of the gruesome attacks. 

Akshaye gave his objective on playing this important role saying, “To be able to wear "the uniform" without taking the oath of the ultimate sacrifice. This is a privilege that only an actor is afforded. My only focus during the making has been not to disrespect that privilege.” State of Siege: Temple Attack will be based on a terrorist attack in Gandhinagar, Gujarat at Akshardham temple that took place on 24th September 2002. It will stream on Zee5 in 2021.
