Bollywood filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj needs no introduction. His films like Omkara, Haider, Maqbool, among others speak for him. With such an amazing body of work, every star wants to be a part of his film making process. Looks like actor Ali Fazal has hit the jackpot by being signed on as the lead in his upcoming action drama. Ali has made a name for himself with brilliant performances in films like Fukrey, Khamoshiyan, Prassthanam and most recently the critically acclaimed web series Mirzapur. The pre-production and the casting of the new film is underway.

Meanwhile Vishal’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaj is also making his debut as a director with the film ‘Kuttey’. The film has an talented star cast that includes Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Arjun Kapoor and Radhika Madan in leading roles. Vishal’s last movie was Pataakha starring Sanya Malhotra. Ali Fazal not only has Bollywood films to his credit but also Hollywood films. He has been featured in films like Fast & Furious 7 and Victoria and Abdul. He will soon be seen in the international film Death on The Nile opposite ‘Wonder Woman’ famed Gal Gadot.
