When Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali first announced his ambitious project Inshallah, it was to star Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt for the first time on the big screen. Sadly the project was shelved after pre-production work began two months prior due to creative differences between the male lead and the director. Now the Padmaavat filmmaker is determined to revive the project with the same leading lady but with a different leading man. Super 30 actor Hrithik Roshan has been approached for the role and he has loved the script, which is based on a love story between a young girl and an older man. This too is a fresh pairing and fans are equally excited. Roshan however has requested a few modifications to the original script. 

Inshallah will most likely go on floors in the second half of 2022. SLB has recently wrapped up his film Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia and will soon began prepping for his next. Hrithik meanwhile is busy shooting for Vikram Vedha and Fighter opposite Deepika Padukone.
