The Dulhania squad is back with a new Dulhania on the board! Yes, you heard it right Alia Bhatt has been replaced by Karan Johar's Dulhania franchise. The upcoming movie is titled Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and it will feature Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role.

Dulhania Franchise Presents a New Movie- Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari:

Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will be the third movie of the blockbuster Dulhania franchise. The movie is all set to release in theatres on April 18, 2025. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will be the second on-screen collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.

New Faces With Same Magic 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' Announced as the Third Dulhania Installment:

The official announcement regarding 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' was made on 22nd February by the lead cast and makers of the movie. It is the third movie from the Dulhania franchise after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017) which featured Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the lead. 

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Instagram Announcement:

The announcement was made on Instagram via video. The movie will feature Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in and as Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. While making the announcement caption shared by the team read: 'Your Sanskari is on his way to get his (Tulsi emoji) Kumari! This love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the big screens! Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumariin cinemas, 18th April 2025!'

Alia Bhatt Out, Janhvi Kapoor In- Fans Expressed Disappointment:

Although the audience is not happy with Janhvi Kapoor joining the Dulhnia franchise by replacing Alia Bhatt. Many have expressed disappointment and demanded to bring back Alia Bhatt. The upcoming movie will not have any links to the storyline of previously released twp movies from the Dulhania franchise. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will be released in theatres on April 18, 2025. The movie is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Production.
