It’s hardly believable that the journey of KBC began 21 years ago, for Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. He would never have expected what the show would do for his career. More so the show running successfully and still being one of the most watched Television reality shows is a sign of his star power and persona. On Friday, the Badla actor will be seen hosting the 1000th episode of the show with his daughter Shweta and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda as guests. He has a fun banter with them and jokes that they are in for a tough time. He also said that since he started the show 2 decades ago, his world had changed and got emotional. 

Navya asked Big B, “Whoever comes on the hot seat, you ask them how have they prepared for KBC. So, today, I want to ask you, how did you prepare for us?” To this the Gulabo Sitabo actor had a witty reply, “Jalebi ki tarah seede sawaal honge aur bhool bhulaiyaa ke tarah aasan.” The girls had a good laugh. Talking about the excitement of hosting his daughter and granddaughter Amitabh had earlier written, “The banter of the family dining table, the repartee, and most importantly the several causes that the young at this age think about and work for. An evening of great pride for the father and grandfather – for Papa and Nana!” The veteran has also hosted celebs like Hema Malini, Rani Mukerji, John Abraham, Divya Khosla Kumar, Saif Ali Khan to Deepika Padukone and Kajol, this season. The 1000 episode of KBC will air this Friday 3rd December at 9:00 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
