Legendary actor of Hindi cinema Dharmendra touched the 87th milestone on 8th December. Apart from the family, his loved ones and well-wishers are sending congratulatory messages through social media. Dharmendra is doing films even after reaching this stage of age. However, there has been little activity. His new film was announced on his birthday, titled Ikkis. The special thing is that Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda is going to make his film debut with this film. Agastya is the son of Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan and businessman Nikhil Nanda.

'Ikkis' is being produced by Dinesh Vijan, while the direction is in the hands of Sriram Raghavan. The film was announced at Dinesh Vijan's office, where the veteran actor's birthday was also celebrated by cutting a cake. Ikkis Vaar is a film whose story is inspired by the life of Param Vir Chakra winner Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal. Lt Khetrapal was the youngest Param Vir Chakra winner. Shooting will start next year.

It is also a coincidence that Agastya is playing a soldier in his first film. Just like his maternal grandfather Amitabh Bachchan, who made his film debut as a soldier in the 1969 film Saat Hindustani. Agastya will also be seen as a character in Zoya Akhtar's under-production web series The Archies. Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor are also starting their acting innings in this series. From this point of view, 'Ikkis' is the second project of Agastya.
