Well known Bollywood and Marathi actor Ramesh Deo passed away on Wednesday following a massive heart attack. The actor whose character as Dr Prakash Kulkarni of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Anand' became iconic was 93. He is survived by his wife well known actress Seema Deo and two sons - Ajinkya Deo and Abhinay Deo. Ajinkya is a popular Bollywood as well as Marathi actor while Abhinay is a filmmaker who is known for his films like ‘Delhi Belly’ and ‘Blackmail’. 

 

Tanhaji actor Anjinkya confirmed the tragic news saying, “Papa had heart complications and had also undergone a bypass surgery.” We rushed him today to the hospital but he had a massive cardiac arrest. The last rites will be performed tomorrow.” The Jolly LLB actor passed away at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. 

 

Ramesh Deo made his Bollywood debut with Rajshri Productions’ 1962 film ‘Aarti’. He has also been part of recent films like Jolly LLB and 'Ghayal Once Again'. He received immense fame with his impressive performance in the 1956’s Marathi film ‘Andhala Magto Ek Dola
